Description
B.C.Rich USA Mockingbird Standard in Trans Red finish made in 1982 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid maple neck-thru body with walnut stringers and maple wings, rosewood fingerboard and rosewood overlay headstock. Equipped with an original set of Dimarzio humbuckers, a PAF in the neck position and Super Distortion in the bridge position. Controlled by 1-master volume, 1-booster volume, 1-master tone knob, a 6-way rotary varitone switch, two 2-way mini toggle coil taps, a 2-way mini toggle phase switch, 2-way mini toggle booster on/off switch and a 3-way toggle switch pickup selector. The 24 5/8” scale length neck has mother of pearl diamond inlays and 24 jumbo frets with a slim C neck profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Grover imperial tuning machines with stepped buttons, a bone nut, a B.C.Rich pat pending brass quadmatic bridge and b.c.rich black aluminum top hat knobs.
This vintage guitar is in overall excellent condition with very light signs of play. There are a few light surface marks you can see under direct light, a finish checking spot at the seem of one of the stringers and a few very light dimples under the finish (see pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings and includes original hard shell case.
