Description
Charvel San-Dimas III Quilted Maple Top in Transparent Green finish made in 1995 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body with a 2-piece quilted maple top, birdseye maple neck and pau ferro fingerboard. Equipped with a DiMarzio DP184 “The Chopper” in the neck position, a DiMarzio DP181 “Fast track 1” in the middle position, and a DiMarzio DP155 “Tone Zone” in the bridge position. Controlled by 1-volume, 1-tone knobs and a 5-way blade switch with 2-Way mini toggle bridge pickup direct out. The 25.5″ scale length neck has pearl dot inlays and 22 jumbo frets on a 12”-16” compound radius with a speed neck profile. The hardware is comprised of black Jackson tuning machines, a Floyd Rose locking nut, a Floyd Rose original double locking tremolo bridge and knurled black dome knobs.
These short lived Charvel models were only produced for one year and were built at Jackson’s USA shop. This example comes to us in it’s original configuration.
This guitar is in overall very good condition with light signs of play. It has a few light Dimples/ dings on the body and some picking wear below the strings, a few light surface marks and small hairline neck pocket corner splits. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings and includes original hard shell case.
