ESP Eclipse CTM Full Thickness 4-Knob Pre-Lawsuit in Vintage Black finish made in 2007 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid full thickness double bound mahogany body with a maple top, mahogany neck and bound ebony fingerboard. Equipped with a set of upgraded EMG James Hetfield high-output humbucker pickups which are a JH Neck in the neck position and JH Bridge in the bridge position. Controlled by 2-volume, 2-tone knobs and a 3-way toggle switch. The 24.75″ scale length neck has mother of pearl flag inlays and 22 extra jumbo frets with a thin U neck profile. The hardware is comprised of Gotoh tuning machines, a bone nut, a Tune-O-Matic bridge and gold speed knobs.
This version of the ESP Eclipse with the full thickness body and 4-knob layout was not available in the U.S market due to a lawsuit from Gibson guitars which resulted in some changes to the ESP eclipse shape as we know it today with the much more common 3-knob layout and thinner body as well as some other changes.
This guitar is in excellent condition with minimal signs of play. There are two small scratches on it‘s lower edge near the input jack
