Fender International Series Stratocaster Hard-tail in Monaco Yellow finish made in 1981. This beautiful guitar features an ash body and a maple neck with a bolt-on 3-bolt construction. Equipped with the original Fender black bottom single-coil pickups complete with the original pots that date to the 12th week of 1981. The 25.5″ scale length neck dates to 1979 and has a medium C shape neck profile. The original “F” Style tuning machines and original 6-saddle Fender bridge are in fantastic condition and keep excellent tuning stability. The original 3-ply white pick-guard has been paired with after market but period correct white Fender knobs and pickup covers to replace the original black knobs and covers that were originally issued with the International series Strats.

This guitar is in excellent condition with only minor surface scratches and various small dings and dents (see photos). Freshly re-strung with 10-46 gauge strings and setup in standard tuning this guitar plays fantastic, looks great and sounds incredible! Comes with Fender late 70’s hardshell case with orange interior.
