Description
Gibson Custom Shop 50th Anniversary 1957 Les Paul Custom Limited Edition in Gold finish made in 2007 with Original Hard Shell Case #103. This guitar features a double bound solid mahogany body with a maple top, mahogany neck, bound ebony fingerboard with engraved 50th anniversary gold plated headstock veneer. Equipped with a gold covered set of Gibson Burstbucker 1 in the neck position and a Gibson Burstbucker 2 in the bridge position. Controlled by 2-volume, 2-tone CTS Pots with Bumble Bee Capacitors and a 3-way toggle switch. The 24.75″ scale length neck has mother of pearl block inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12” radius with a 50’s rounded neck profile. The hardware is comprised of all matching gold Grover rotomatic tuning machines, a bone nut, an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and black top hat knobs with a gold plated pickguard.
This guitar came from a large collection, it is in overall excellent condition with minimal to no signs of play. The pickups and pickguard have very light surface marks and some light fading. There are few spots of very light finish checking around the bindings edge on its sides.
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 Optima Maxiflex 24k Gold strings. Includes original hard shell case and COA.
