Description
Gibson Custom Shop ‘59 ES-335 Murphy Lab in Ultra Light Aged Ebony finish made in 2023 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a double bound semi-hollow 3-ply maple/poplar/maple body with center block with a maple top, mahogany neck and bound indian rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with a pair of Gibson Alnico III Custom Buckers in the neck and bridge position. Controlled by 2-volume, 2-tone knobs and a 3-way toggle switch comprised of CTS pots and Lux paper in oil caps. The 24.75″ scale length neck has pearloid dot inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12’’ radius with an authentic ’59 medium C neck profile. The hardware is comprised of aged VOS patina nickel Kluson single line single ring tuning machines, a nylon nut, a ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge with stop tail and black top hat knobs with a 5-ply black/white pickguard.
This guitar is in overall excellent condition with a few light signs of play. It has a few surface marks on the body/ neck and a little ding on the edge of the headstock and back. (See pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes original hard shell case, COA and original case candy.
