Description
Gibson Les Paul Standard 60th Anniversary ’59 Reissue in Orange Sunset Fade finish made in 2019 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid light-weight mahogany body with a bound flamed maple top, mahogany neck and bound Bolivian rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with a pair of Gibson un-potted CustomBucker humbucking pickups with Alnico III magnets in the neck position and bridge positions controlled by 2-volume, 2-tone knobs and a 3-way toggle switch. The 24.75″ scale length neck has cellulose trapezoid inlays inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets with a authentic ’59 medium “C” neck profile. The hardware is comprised of Kluson vintage style single-line tuning machines, a bone nut, a ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, and gold top hat knobs with a single-ply cream pick-guard.
This guitar was acquired from the original owner who is a collector and former Gibson employee. The guitar is in excellent condition with only light surface scratches, light corrosion of the hardware, and some guitar hanger burn on the edges of the back of the neck (see photos). Freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings and includes original hard shell case, COA, case candy, hang tags and commemorative 60th anniversary control plate.
