Description
Gibson Custom Shop Limited Run ES-345 VOS 1959 Stereo in Alpine White VOS finish made in 2010 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a double bound semi-hollow maple back & sides body with a maple top, 1-piece mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with a set of aged gold Gibson 57 Classic humbuckers in the neck position and bridge position. Controlled by 2-volume, 2-tone knobs, 6-way varitone and a 3-way toggle switch. The 24.75″ scale length neck has pearloid split parallelogram inlays inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12” radius with a 1960 slim taper neck profile. The hardware is comprised of aged gold Gibson vintage deluxe tuning machines, a bone nut, an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge with Bigsby tremolo tailpiece and aged top hat reflector knobs with a included/ but never installed pickguard.
This guitar is in overall excellent condition with Minimal signs of play. The gold hardware is lightly aged from the factory being a vos but has some signs of oxidation. The Alpine white finish has spots of common case bleed where it has signs of a light blue from the black interior case, mainly the lower rear bought, two spots on the neck and two spots on the top and bottom edge of body. There are some sings of bindage shrinkage/ finish check around the edges of body, mainly where the neck meets the body. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes original hard shell case, COA, Factory Inspection card and factory never installed pickguard.
