Just in at Diablo Guitars is this beautiful 1996 Guild D55 Dreadnaught Acoustic with a AAA sitka spruce top and braziallian rosewood back and sides with a mahogany neck and ebony fretbaord.

The D-55 reflects nearly half a century of Guild’s master craftsmanship, featuring the kind of tonewoods that give you an unrivaled level of expression and melodic character. This D-55’s eye-catching solid AAA spruce top reflects a warm and woody brilliance that speaks volumes about its tonal character. A breathtaking bookmatched Indian rosewood back and matching sides add extra aesthetic finesse as well as mellow overtones, while a 12″ radius neck and ebony fretboard make the D-55 a pleasure to play.

The guitar is in excellent condition for it’s age. There is some cloudyness in the finish in the back from player wear as well as some visible dings. The nut hase been replaced with a new bone nut. The edge bidning shows a little seperation in the finish on the treble side. All chips, dings etc are domcumented to the best of our ability in the bench video above.

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 12-54 strings and includes skb molded hard shell case .
