Just in at Diablo Guitars is this beautiful 1976 Marshall JMP MKII Head.
Our 76 Marshall comes to us in very good condition. The back panel is missing which is common for these amps. It functions perfectly and has all original iron (Input and Output Transformer and Choke). The stock impedance selector has been swapped out for a sturdy rotary style knob. The amp may have been modified at one point as there is an additional hole in the front of the chassis (now capped). The amp is back to it’s stock circuit and sounds just incredible. It was recapped along the line to guarantee top performance (Filter Caps generally only last about 25 to 30 years)
The amp has been thoroughly gone through and documented in the photos above. It is currently biased at 32.21 DC (cool / medium) and the EL 34 tubes have plenty of life left in them!
