Description
This Soldano SLO-100 comes to us in VERY good if not excellent condition. It works perfectly and oozes all the rich tone that made these amps legendary. As an older build it is loaded with the all original DMI 500 series transformers (no longer made or available). The only non-stock option on the amp is a factory installed selectable bright cap, giving you the standard “Bright / Normal” modes but ALSO two options in “Bright” mode.
The head was exposed to some moisture at some point, there is some oxidation present on the tops of the transformers. Not uncommon in older amps. There is also some oxidation on the handle mounts (pictured) The chassis photos provided will illustrate not only how well these amps are made, but that it is in fantastic condition. over time some of the tolex edges had begun to separate from the wood of the enclosure, we’ve carefully re-glued the more bothersome areas.
This amp is a screamer and is ready to roll!
