Fender Early Custom Shop Strat with Factory Floyd Olympic White 1991 Diablo Resto-Mod Edition w/Hardshell Case

Vintage Fender USA Custom Shop Strat with Factory Floyd Rose Diablo Resto-Mod Edition in Olympic White finish made in 1991 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid alder body, flamed maple neck and flame maple fingerboard with black finished headstock face. Modded with a single Seymour Duncan Tremstack in the bridge position. Controlled by one master volume knob with a 500k Cts pot. The 25.5" scale length neck has black dot inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets on a 9.5" radius with a modern C neck profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Fender standard sealed diecast tuning machines, a Floyd Rose locking nut, a Floyd Rose original double locking tremolo bridge and black top hat knob with a single-ply black in-house made pickguard.

This vintage custom shop came to us with a body that was already professionally bathtub routed and graphite paint shielded insides. The finish was an aged off white but someone had messed with it. Ronnie was able to save it and buff it back to a just a lightly worn in feel, returning it to a light gloss. We decided to take it in a heavy metal direction and compliment some of its cooler attributes like the factory black finished headstock face and flame maple neck. Ronnie handmade a single ply pickguard and converted it to a no-nonsense, no frills 1-hum/1-master volume with a 90s seymour Duncan Tremstack, because if you're gonna have a floyd you should have some high gain to go with it. The black hardware accents and black pickguard finished it off, always a nice contrast on an aged white body giving this early Custom shop a new life.

This resto-mod guitar is in overall very good condition. It has some light marks, a few light dings/ light dents, hairline finish splits at the neck pocket corners and some light finish chipping a the the neck pocket corner edges. (See pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings and includes hard shell case.
