Gibson Les Paul Standard Ebony 1978 w/OHSC

Vintage Gibson Les Paul Standard in Ebony Finish made in 1978 with original hard shell case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body with a bound maple top, 3-Piece maple neck and bound rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with its original Gibson patent stamp chrome covered Humbucker in the neck position and re-equipped with a gibson zebra bobbin patent stamp humbucker 1980 in the bridge. Controlled by 2 volume, 2 tone pots and a 3-Way toggle switch with aftermarket 500k pots with Hovland musicap foil and polypropylene film capacitors. The 24.75" scale length neck has pearloid trapezoid inlays and 22 vintage frets on a 12" radius with a slim taper profile. The hardware is comprised of an upgraded vintage set of chrome Grover rotomatic tuning machines with kidney heads, a corian nut, a Gibson nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge and amber top hat knobs with a 1-Ply cream pickguard.

This guitar is in overall good condition for it‘s age with visible signs of play and wear. It has finish wear, dings, dents, scratches, a touch up across the rear edge of neck heel, theres some wear into the fretboard And theres finishing chipping on the bottom edges and top of headstock. Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
