Gibson Vintage Les Paul Jr Double Cut Cherry 1959 w/Hardshell Case

Vintage Gibson Les Paul JR Double Cut in Cherry Finish made in 1959 with hard shell case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body, 1-piece mahogany neck and brazilian rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with a single original Gibson dog ear P90 in the bridge position. Controlled by 1 volume and 1 tone pot comprised of its original Centralab pots dating the 14th week of 1959. The 24.75" scale length neck has pearloid dot inlays and 22 vintage frets on a 12" radius with a 50s rounded profile. The hardware is comprised of nickel Kluson deluxe single line tuning machines with oval heads, a bone nut, a Gibson wrap around bridge and black top hat knobs with a tortoise pickguard.

This vintage guitar is in overall very good condition for its age with visible signs of play and wear. It has finish check throughout the instrument, finish worn through in some spots and chipping, some dings, dents, marks and finish fading in spots. This had another set of tuning machines on it at some point but the correct style Is on it now. The headstock outer seam is visible on one side but has been reglued by a luthier. (See pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes non Original molded Hard Shell Case.
