B.C. Rich USA Explorer Silverburst 1987 w/Hardshell Case

B.C. Rich USA Explorer in Silverburst Finish made in 1987 with hardshell case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body, mahogany neck-thru and rosewood fingerboard with a traditional headstock with rosewood overlay and mother of pearl inlay. Equipped with dimarzio humbuckers, a PAF 36th anniversary in the neck and a super 2 in the bridge position. Controlled by 1-Volume, 1-Tone, 1-Boost pots and a 3-Way toggle switch. The 24.75" scale length neck has mother of pearl dot inlays and medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a medium C profile. The hardware is comprised of gold "R" branded Schaller tuning machines with crown heads, a new bone nut, a kahler tremolo bridge and original b.c.rich aluminum top hat knobs.

This guitar is incredibly rare! Only 20 or so Neckthru Explorers were ever made in 1980's & not offered by B.C. Rich due to Gibson Explorer shape, these were only made for few specific endorsed artists.

This guitar is in overall very good condition with moderate signs of play and wear for its age. It had a previous headstock repair at some point in its life which has been re-finished black and received a clear stinger over the black. The body has dings/ dents and dimples, some surface marks and scratches. There are a few spots worn through the finish around the edges and a few small chips, the back has buckle rash and the finish was previously worn through into the wood. (See pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes Hardshell Case.
